Now you can directly use the rubyforge version: $ sudo gem install vcs --include-dependencies --no-rdoc [...] Successfully installed vcs-0.5.2.4 New versions including next prereleases will be now available throught rubyforge. I left a link on my page: http://www.lrde.epita.fr/~pouill_n/vcs. PS: Due to a rubygem version numbering weakness versions are encoded as follow: 0.5.2.4 means 0.5_beta4 (alpha = 1, beta = 2, ...)
